Nelia is expecting

It seems that Nelias date with Simo was successful and now we are expecting kittens in February the 18th. Nelia is fine and is also putting on weight. More details when we get closer. There are pictures and more detailed information in Finnish blog.

A little bit of updates in English as well. Nelia met her man Simo. They've been mating successfully but the results we'll know later. In two three weeks time should be certain whether we are expecting kittens or not. 

Kuku has been successful in cat shows. She was nominated in Kirkkonummi Urk cat show and in Helsinki Ery-Syd she was BIS! Now we are having a show break since first of all Kuku needs to travel abroad for the next certificate and secondly Nelia might be expecting little Nelias :). 

Nelia's man Simo is a cinnamon carrier so if we are really really lucky we might see some little cinnamons in February. 

Tampere Cat show behind

We spent Saturday in Tampere Pirok's Cat show. 

Kuku's judge was Kristiina Rautio and Nelia's Martti Peltonen. On the top there was a judge student as well. All the judges asked girls for nominations as well so the day basically went with checking the schedules and carrying the cats.  

Kuku was the first and had quite a bad day, probably because for the first time Rimpula wasn't around. For Kuku that bad mood was only good since Kristiina normally likes orientals with attitude and pissed off face. She got very nice judging and even her little bit heavy belly wasn't a problem. In nominations a short hair dropped her but altogether well done Kuku! She got her first CAP now since it was the first show as an adult. 

Suprisingly Peltonen liked Nelia as well. He thought that Nelia is very elegant especially for a long hair. Basically everything else was excellent apart from the ears and there's no disagreement with that - they are high :D. Peltonen took Nelia for nomination as well but there were two short hairs againts her with excellent type so no chance for Nelia. But Nelia got very good judging as well and her first CAC so I couldn't be happier. Well done cinnamon girls!

Rimpula and Bingu reached two excellent years today. Of course we had a little birthday party with a meat cake. Some quests were invited as well ;)
